| Background: | The Kamlapur railway hospital was established in 1986. It is situated between the Kamalapur station and Shahjahanpur junction. It is adjacent to the Motijheel Ideal School and College. The total area of the hospital covers 4.30 acres of land. There are also several trees in the hospital premises. Bangladesh Railway has decided to expand its social services in some other areas by utilizing its core asset including hues land base and other infrastructure. For the medical care of the BR’s employees, it has some hospitals at different places. Kamlapur Railway Hospital is one of them.

appointment of Transaction Advisor. ·
Kamalapur Railway Hospital was converted into Railway General
Hospital on 30-04-2015. For this Transaction Advisor (TA) engagement was delayed. ·
Contract Agreement with Transaction Advisor [Powerwaterhouse
Coopers Ltd (PwC), India] signed on 28-05-2018. ·
Proposal has been sent to implement the project on Korean G to G
financing under PPP scheme. ·
Feasibility Study report has been approved on 31.08.2020. ·
PPP authority has given no objection to the bid document. Tenders
are scheduled to be called on 25.05.2021. ·
BR sent the bid document to MOR on 20-06-2021 for their review and
approval. ·
Approval of MOR on Bid Document sent by BR was received on
28.03.2022. ·
Tenders for the project were invited on 14.06.2022 and the last
date for submission of tenders is 25.10.2022. ·
The bid document was opened on 16.11.2022. One bidder submitted
the document for this project. ·
Evaluation of the submitted proposal is ongoing. TEC committee sent
a clarification letter to bidder on 30.05.3023. |
